I noticed a news truck for KCAL Channel 9 news parked near the intersection of Kanan Road and Tamarind a little after noon today. I am assuming it is for the missing person story of Oak Park resident Gavin Smith, who was last seen on Tuesday night, as he was driving away from his home, according to the 5-7 Daily News.
We wish authorities and Mr. Smith’s family the best, in the continued search for him.

I saw some news trucks today. This is a very sad story. These stories about folks that just vanish are indeed troubling.
