The Ventura County Elections Division of the County Clerk’s office has now posted the list of offices up for election this November. The filing time opened July 16, and runs through August 10, unless an incumbent for a particular office doesn’t file. Then the closing date is extended until August 15.
There is also a candidates list on the Ventura County website. It shows those who have at least taken out papers for an office. In looking at the list, most of the folks pulling papers, have not yet filed them.
Did you see that there is a Mr. Pipes and a Mr. Waters running for seats on the Calleguas Municipal Water District?
