Parents of children attending the Open Classroom magnet program at Conejo Elementary in Thousand Oaks, are organizing to start Bridges Charter School to open next school year. According to an article in the 9-24 Thousand Oaks Acorn, the parents sent a letter to CVUSD Superintendent Mario Contini, saying that they wanted to house the school at University Elementary School, which the District closed last year.Â
The parents are holding an information meeting this Tuesday, 9-29, at the North Ranch Community Center, 1400 N.
