I was heading back to the Conejo Valley from the Westside, driving through Malibu Canyon around 10:30 AM today. What a noticed was a steady stream of cars heading towards Malibu and possibly the beach.
Well, the weather was not so summerlike on the coast. The temp was 67 degrees then, and it was gray and somewhat foggy. Whereas, in our beautiful valley, the temp was high 70s, with the skies clear and blue. I was wondering if folks just set out for the ocean, thinking it would be like the Conejo Valley, but no way…
