Swap meets in the greater Los Angeles area are increasingly popular, according to today’s Los Angeles Times article, “Shopping Outside the Box,” http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-flea-markets30-2009may30,0,103531.story. If you want to check out Ventura County swap meets, the Ventura Flea Market is happening tomorrow, Sunday, from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. It is only held 5 times a year, according to the show producer, R.G. Canning Attractions, and the next one is scheduled for 9-27-09. Regular admission is $5/person, and kids under 12 are free with an adult. There was no mention of the cost of parking. Go to www.rgcshows.com for more information.
