I was so pleased to attend a monthly meeting of the Ventura County Writers Club last night, to hear speaker Brian Fagan. He is a Santa Barbara resident and Anthropology Professor Emeritus at UCSB, and has written a number popular non-fiction books, according to his bio on the VC Writers website. I learned a lot from his presentation, which was entertaining, with a lot of stories.
Because his talk was so good, I’ll bet Fagan is a good writer, too, and I want to check the library for some of his books, especially Elixir: A History of Water and Humankind.
