My First Calleguas Campaign Sign Now Up

September 28th, 2012 · 1 Comment · Uncategorized

Sometimes it feels like we are barreling toward the November 6th election, and sometimes it feels like we are moving in slow motion toward it, but today, is one of the barreling days for me.

That is because I have a pile of flat election signs in my garage that need folding and stapling on metal frames, before they are even ready to put in the ground.  I tell you, it is enough to make me walk in and out of my front door, rather than through the garage!

So, I am thinking that many hands make light the job…maybe if I would make apple and/or peach cobbler, folks would come by to help, especially if the cobbler was served a la mode?

Anyway, I assembled the first sign, and put it up yesterday, and am pleased with how it looks.  I went bold with the colors this year…the green is fluorescent, but not obnoxiously so.  How do you think it compares to my last campaign sign?  A few friends told me during the last campaign, in a friendly way of course, that the turquoise and white signs were “forgetable” and hard to find in a sign grouping.  I am hoping the same can’t be said for the new ones!

If you would like me to drop off a campaign sign to your home, you can write a comment with your address, and I won’t print it at the Conejo Post, but will drop off a sign. A reader just asked in this way…how cool!
