There is a multi-colored metal sculpture in the center of the fountain at the entrance to the Ventura County Admin Building in Ventura. Its shape resembles that of a common houseplant, Sansevieria, one of which I have in my living room.
The last time I reported on whimsical art in th eVC fountain, the objects were 3 swan cutouts, circling in the water. I appreciate that the county doesn’t take itself too seriously, so that we can have fun art as we enter the Admin Building. Thanks, VC!

I appreciate your attention to detail. So often we just fly past the objects of art that surround our every day being.
Ever notice the ring of palms at the government center? A feat in itself, these monocots were planted at different levels using an intricate system that would let them all reach for the sky at an even keel.
We should all take a minute to slow down and take in art that exists in our surroundings.
