I suited up and showed up for the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) meeting last night, so that I could see what is going on and also speak about the latest news from Triunfo Sanitation District, where I serve as Chair of the Board.
So far, so good, andI had a great time visiting with friends before the meeting. Then, Mike Paule called the meeting to order, and shortly after that, I started coughing. Beating a hasty retreat to my car, I decided that the afternoon winds must have really whipped up dust and ash from the last fires, and microscopic particles were probably still in the air. And, at this point in flu recovery, don’t leave home without water and cough medicine!
