I checked the thermometer on my patio table this morning at 6:30 and it read 32 degrees. The neighbors’ white roofs and the frost on the lawns tell me we are really into Fall now. The Ventura County Star forecasts even colder for tonight, with a prediction of 28 degrees for Agoura Hills, 30 degrees for Westlake Village, and Thousand Oaks the warmest of all, with 40 degrees.
Glad I got my tropical and frost-susceptible potted plants indoors yesterday. Now I just have to hope for the patience to water them by hand all winter!
