Walking in the quiet frosty air this morning with my friend, with hardly another walker in sight, it occurred to me that I have been way to busy the past few days.
So busy, that I have lost awareness of the spiritual significance of the holiday season. It is not about how decorated my home is or is not, how many presents will be opened or not, our how much food is on the table or not.
It is time, instead, for me to be aware that it is about bringing more love, goodwill, and tolerance into our world. As the Christmas carol wishes us, “Peace on earth, goodwill toward men!”
Wising you peace on earth, and goodwill toward all, from the Conejo Post…
