The storage facility being built on Skyline Drive, just north of Thousand Oaks Boulevard, seems really out of scale for for the buildings around it. This photo was taken from the Lassen’s Center parking lot, and the new structure seems to loom over the center.Â
My question is, why? Why was a building of this size approved, on an already very busy, narrow street that is used as a connector between Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hillcrest? It appears to be at least three stories tall, and the central roofline design element makes it taller. Also, it is adjacent to Twin Palms Mobile Home Park. I will bet that the mobile home park residents are not pleased!
