Where in the Conejo Is This?

January 30th, 2010 · 3 Comments · Uncategorized, Where in the Conejo?

dsc01349No, you are not seeing double…there are two American flags flying at this mystery site.  A clue is that you can see the two flags from the 101 Freeway.

I decided to post it today, because the flags are not flying right now.  I think they were up until the rains came, and I am hoping that they will be back flying soon.

2-1-2010  Congratulations to Clint for the answer!  Please click on the second and third comments to find out where in the Conejo this is.

Hmmm…got me on this one… I will guess that they were on the hill above the Conejo Recreation & Park District‎ building (old City Hall?)?

Driving east along the 101 Freeway between the Lindero Canyon Road Exit and the Reyes Adobe Exit, you can see the two flags to the north on a hill behind a large Bank of America office building. Driving north on Lindero Canyon from the freeway in Westlake Village, the flags are on a hill behind Pierce Brothers Mortuary. However, I just drove down Lindero Canyon Road heading for Costco, and the flags were not there. Hmmm…
Take my word for it though, they sure used to be!
