The list of candidates and potential candidates for offices throughout Ventura County went online Friday (7-23) afternoon, an election worker told me, while I was filing papers.
Since a candidate can pick up papers at the city or agency that is having the election, the county list may not have all the current names, if the city or agency has not forwarded them to the county Elections Division yet. And, they still may not be updated with current information, because I filed late yesterday afternoon at the county offices, but that is not yet recorded on the list. However, the list gives a pretty good idea of who has filed and who has not, and I am glad it is online now. Thanks, Elections Division!
