It seems like I really like to hang on to old technology until it the new technology is so compelling, that it is time to move on.
I think that is where we are now with smart phones and I impulsively bought one a few weeks ago at Costco. I was very innocently walking by the phone counter there, and stopped to ask a few questions. Next thing I knew, I was enthralled with one of the new phones and bought it on the spot!
Now, I am really reconsidering whether this is the model for me or not. If my process had been as smart as the phone’s, I would have done my homework first, and walked up to the sales counter as an informed consumer! Oh well…it makes me want my dumb phone back, but I do know it is time to get with the program, and have more mobile data and communication capabilities at my fingertips. Am I the only one having smart phone travails?
