The Oaks Mall is one of my favorite places to shop.  However, some of the crosswalks at the mall are a concern to me.  This is a photo of a crosswalk to the north of the movie theater, Muvico, and I have driven by many times and seen people, often with young kids, waiting to cross.

The challenge for pedestrians waiting to cross, is that there is very little room on the sidewalk next to the street.  It seems odd to me that pedestrian safety does not seem to have been taken into account, with the design of this crossing.
