Ted alerted the Conejo Post to an article in the 8-25 Los Angeles Times, about a reported raid by city of Calabasas officials and L.A. County Sheriff deputies, on a 60-acre homesite in Stokes Canyon, to investigate the owners’ septic system, on July 8. According to the article, the raid resulted in “ordering a pioneering Calabasas family’s water and power cut off, leaving four people homeless.”
The city officials were reported saying that “the septic system was polluting a nearby stream.” To read the L.A. Times article by Bob Pool, go to: http://www.latimes.com/search/dispatcher.front?Query=stokes+canyon%2C+smith&target=article&sortby=display_time+descending
