I watched Pat Boone last night on television, in one of those 1/2 hour presentations for Time-Life CD’s, where he hosted musical selections from the late 1950′s and early 1960′s. One of my favorite songs of his from way-back-when, was “Love Letters in the Sand.”
I thought of that as I walked on the wet sand near where the waves were breaking at Westward Beach this morning. So, I wrote a little note to the wonderful valley in which we live! Can you see it now? “I (heart) Conejo.” As with all love letters in the sand, my note was soon erased by the waves washing over it, but it is the thought that counts isn’t it?
