Ventura County’s CEO, Marty Robbins, had a higher compensation package than I posted 8-29. This according to an article in the VC Star this morning (9-3). The Star article states that the paper was furnished with a revised total comp amount of $386,874, instead of $338,087 reported previously, to include “tax-payer-paid contributions to Robbins county-provided retirement, Medicare, Social Security, life insurance, and long-term disability.”
This revision makes Robbins the highest paid top public admininistrator in Ventura County now. The city manager of Oxnard is second, with comp of $381,767/year, compared to Scott Mitnick, city manager of Thousand Oaks, who makes a total reported comp of $354,577.
