The website for my re-election campaign for Triunfo Sanitation District, went online yesterday. I thought my friend and I could whip it out in a few hours (imagine the sound of laugher in the background), but of course it took longer to put together! You can take a look at: www.VoteForJannaOrkney.com. FYI, Triunfo serves the Westlake Village part of Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Lake Sherwood, Bell Canyon, and part of North Ranch.
A website with an issue of local interest is: www.TOTermLimits.com. Should there be a limit of consecutive terms that a Thousand Oaks City Councilmember can serve? The Ventura County Supervisors have term limits, but I am not aware of any other local goverment body that does.
