On the Ventura County Board of Supervisors meeting agenda this morning, (7-27) is a 10:30 Time Certain, Closed Session conference with Ventura County’s labor negotiators, and representatives from various unions. Also meeting with the Sups in this conference, according to the agenda, are the Ventura County Fire Protection District Board, and the In-Home Supportive Services Pulbic Authority Board.Â
 The agenda lists to following unions as taking part: California Nurses Assoc., Criminal Justice Attorneys’ Assoc. of Ventura County, International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 501, Service Employees International Union (SEIU), Local 721, Specialized Peace Officers’ Assoc. of Ventura County, Ventura County Deputy Sheriffs’ Assoc., Ventura County Prof. Peace Officers Assoc., Ventura county Sheriff’s Correctional Officers’ Assoc, Ventura Employees Assoc.
Separately noted on the agenda are two unions. They are the Ventura County Professional Firefighters Assoc. and SEIU, Local 6434.
I would say that there is a whole lot of meetin’ goin’ on!
