I flew back into Burbank a week ago, returning from a vacation. I was intrigued by this view out to the plane boarding area at BUR, when I was departing for the vacation. The two boarding gangways made a “V,” featuring the control tower in the middle!
Anyway, I had a grand time and it is also great to be back and rev up the posts again. As for the title, I know it is a stretch to use “wild blue yonder,” from the U.S. Air Force song, but I wanted to, with Independence Day coming in 8 days. My dad was in the Army Air Corp. in WWII, and I have always loved this song.
