Just call me a roving traffic reporter! After sitting through 2 traffic signal rotations with no forward movement, heading south on the Kanan Road overpass of the 101 Freeway, I managed to bail to the left turn lane and escape. (Thanks to a generous driver in the turn lane, who let me go ahead of her.)
I would much rather be at Zuma Beach in Malibu right now, than telling you that traffic is not moving on Kanan Dume, at the Agoura Road intersection. However, I gotta say being in front of my computer right now, beats sitting in unmoving traffic. Hmm…maybe I wasn’t the only one that decided the beach would be great on a sunny and breezy Friday afternoon!

Traffic over Kanan is due to road work. Yes, again! It’s down to one lane before Sierra Creek, so you’ll have to wait your turn but after that it’s clear sailing.
A good weekend for the beach but you better have had your hepatitis A and maybe a tetanus if you are planning on going in the water. Remember, everything that was on the sidewalks or in the street has now been washed to the creek and the ocean.
