The Conejo Valley mirrors the rest of SoCal in its concern for having a good, reliable water supply. Those of us living in the Conejo get all or a large percentage of our water from the Sacramento Delta, because there is not adequate water here to support our population. That puts local, regional and state water policy at the very center of our life. I have received a profound education in water policy, since my election to the Triunfo Sanitation District board in 2006. That is because Triunfo owns Oak Park Water Service, which supplies water to around 14,000 Oak Park residents.
